Before working at Buttercup we were lucky to have Zoe volunteer at the school for five years while her daughters attended classes at Buttercup. With all her volunteering and previous experience for Salem Keizer School District, when a position became available in a Kindergarten class, we knew she would be a perfect fit.
She is originally from North Bend and Newport here in Oregon then moved to Monmouth where she graduated from Western Oregon University. She met her husband Chris, who is originally from Salem, and never left. They have two girls Paige (10) Molly (9), also two fur kids Miller (Chocolate Lab), and Maggie (Corgi). They love the community here in Salem and are fortunate to have a lot of family close by.
In their down time as a family, they love camping, fishing, and hunting together. She also loves gardening, and taking care of her many indoor plants. You can also find her volunteering at her daughter’s school.
